In an attempt to consolidate information of the solar and renewable energy sectors along with complimentary environmental topics such as waste management and clean development mechanisms, Kanoda, Inc. will be joining hands with the Nepra Group via a special-purpose vehicle – Nepra Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India.
The newly formed venture, Nepra Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., will serve as a platform for individuals, companies, institutions, non-government organizations, governments and all other stakeholders to develop an economically and environmentally sustainable resource management industry in developing nations through active collaborations and exchange of resources.
“With the ‘front-end’ of industries in developing countries organizing themselves, the ‘back-end’ or the waste-sector requires serious reformations,” said Mr. Sandeep Patel, president of the Nepra Group, during signing of the agreement. “Our first objective will be to educate the industries that waste is not a liability, but it is actually a resource,” he added.
Kanoda will enhance this effort through its experience in renewable energy, management in technology and information management. Complementing Mr. Patel’s remarks, Dr. Omkar Jani, founder and CEO of Kanoda, added, “Waste is not really waste, but it is a source for energy, and we have no choice to extract this energy to help the environment.”
