With the first company, Kanoda Inc., USA, established in 2004 by Dr. Omkar Jani as an incubation project, the Kanoda Group has experienced considerable growth and success in a very short period. While the first company provided cutting-edge solutions to photovoltaic technology, today our Group’s activities span over a wide range including innovation, R&D, manufacturing, installation & maintenance, education and training, consultancy, information and management services in the solar energy sector. Our Companies

Kanoda, Inc., USA is a consulting firm in the R&D and manufacturing of various photovoltaic technologies with special emphasis on crystalline/multi-crystalline silicon, silicon-heterojunction and III-V high-efficiency concentrator solar cells. Kanoda, Inc. is a complete solutions provider for these technologies and supports a photovoltaic concept from inception to its production and marketing.

Kanoda Solar Labs was established in 2007 to develop innovative products for the photovoltaic industry. Kanoda Solar Labs excels in developing novel solar cell technologies, module assemblies, and BOS components as well as research and training facilities.

Kanoda Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., India is the latest addition to the Kanoda group and was established in 2009 to expand operations in India and South-East Asia. Kanoda Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. targets kilo-watt and mega-watt-sized photovoltaic and hybrid power systems deployment as a viable energy alternative.

Nepra Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India is a special-purpose vehicle formed in collaboration with the Nepra group of companies. Activities of Nepra Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd. involve manufacturing and services in renewable energy, waste management, and information dissemination.

Swarup is a Non-Government Organization which extends professional training to develop a skilled workforce in renewable and other technologies.
